Ballymore Group, a leading property developer in Dublin, required temporary modular site accommodation while completing construction on a residential development. To ensure smooth on-site operations, they needed high-quality facilities to accommodate 50 site operatives and 15 full-time office staff, including canteens, changing rooms, toilets, and office and meeting spaces. Seeking a flexible and efficient solution that could adapt to the evolving needs of a busy construction site, they turned to Portakabin for support.
Portakabin provided a total of 10 Konstructa modular buildings in a double-stack layout, designed to optimise space while ensuring convenience for all staff. The carefully planned site layout allowed for phased adaptation as project needs evolved. Each unit was fully furnished and equipped with energy-efficient features, including wall-timed heaters and PIR sensors, helping to create a comfortable and sustainable working environment. The offsite construction process minimised disruption, and the modular approach ensured that the buildings could be relocated or removed as required.
