When PM Group was tasked with managing an expansion project for a leading pharmaceutical company in Ireland, they needed a high-quality temporary facility to accommodate the construction management team. The facility would house approximately 200 people, providing a 70:30 split of office and welfare space for client engineers and construction staff. To meet the project's tight timeline and unique requirements, they turned to Portkabin for a modular solution that could be delivered quickly and efficiently.
Portakabin designed and installed a turnkey, two-storey modular building, enabling contractors and client engineers to work comfortably and productively while a permanent facility is constructed nearby. The modular approach alloweed the pharmaceutical company to minimise disruption to its operations, save time and money, and maintain momentum on their expansion project.
Despite a change in project management partway through the build, Portakabin ensured that the project stayed on schedule, delivering the completed facility within just two months of installation.
